Panorama Trail - Cool Cave Loop

The trail starts on the western side of the road and heads towards the rock formations straight ahead. When you reach the first junction, stay on the right and follow the signs. You'll pass the Ballerina Spire and the Hat Shop, two interesting geological features. After passing the Secret Passage spur on the right, the trail makes a sharp left turn and heads south and take right at the junction to the cool cave loop. This trail leads you around a smaller basin on the west side of Kodachrome Basin State Park. The highlight of this trail is Cool Cave. The basin is surrounded by impressive rock formations, which are easy to admire as the trail gently ascends up and down the sandy slopes. After joining back the Panorama trail junction, head south again. After half a mile, you reach another major junction. Panorama Point is straight ahead. To follow the trail, make a sharp left turn. Reach the junction you passed earlier to return to the trailhead.
