23 - la Route de Zizim : entre La Souterraine et Bourganeuf (Randonnée Equestre)

Cet itinéraire fait partie de la collection de EquiLiberté : www.equiliberte.org Circuit NON ACCESSIBLE aux attelages. Ce tracé est fourni par l'association " la Marche au Trot".
La tour Zizim à Bourganeuf a été construite à la fin du XV e siècle par Pierre d'Aubusson pour accueillir Djem, le fils d'un sultan ottoman. Surnommé « Zizim », ce prince a vécu deux ans en Creuse avant de repartir, mais il a laissé son surnom à la tour. Pendant la Seconde Guerre mondiale, la tour de sept étages a servi de prison à des résistants qui ont laissé des graffitis.
